SSL, DNS & Email

How to check whether your nameservers point to Zenex Cloud

If the nameservers are wrong, the website may resolve elsewhere or fail to pick up the records your hosting expects.

Overview

What this guide covers

DNS issues can block websites, SSL validation, and mail flow even when the hosting account is healthy.

Quick checks

Before you make changes

  • Nameservers match the hosting provider
  • A or CNAME records exist where expected
  • The root and www hostnames resolve consistently
  • SSL is retried after DNS has propagated

Steps

Recommended process

  1. Look up the current nameservers for the domain.
  2. Compare them with the nameservers your hosting service expects.
  3. Update the nameservers at your registrar if they are incorrect.
  4. Allow time for propagation before rechecking the site.
